
Mark Castrillon
A Southern California native, Mark began his life in music at a very young age. He began playing the saxophone at 7 years old. At 9 he began
singing career in Church choirs, continuing to perform into his early teens and eventually joining the L.A. music scene in the 80’s performing with
various original and cover bands.
As an artist, he has worked withmulti-platinum artists including Paul Rodgers (Bad Company), Paul Stanley (KISS), Lou Gramm (Foreigner),
Richard Marx, Edwin McCain, just to name a few Additionally, Mark also shared the stage and worked in the studio with such artists as Kenny
Rogers, The Killers, Sheila-E, Bret Michaels (POISON), and David Cook (American idol). In the late 2000’s his song WAITING FOR YOU ,featured
in the Gold Circle Film “My Sassy Girl”.
Mark has a background as a legal assistant and paralegal. In 2004, Mark had the honor of working with legendary Producer QUINCY JONES
and the Quincy Jones Foundation. Mark was directly involved in the creation, building and executing a once-in-a-lifetime Humanitarian Concert
“WE ARE THE FUTURE” on May 16, 2004, in Rome, Italy, with such acts as Beyonce, Andrea Bocelli, Alicia Keys and Carlos Santana.
Mark is still a full time working musician with his bands 90's Nation and his Goo Goo Dolls Tribute band "IRIS". Mark currently lives in Los
Angeles , California with his family
